O 50.º aniversário do álbum homónimo dos The Beatles, também conhecido como “White Album”, é celebrado com uma reedição disponível em vários formatos (SuperDeluxe com 7 discos; Deluxe com 3CD ou 4LP; Standard de 2LP).
A edição Super Deluxe consiste numa caixa de 6CDs e um disco Blu-Ray Áudio. Contém: a nova mistura em stereo do “White Album”; um terceiro CD com as “Esher Demos”, ou seja, as maquetas gravadas na casa de George Harrison em Esher; três CDs com 50 gravações alternativas, a maioria nunca editadas até à data, novamente misturadas a partir das gravações analógicas originais; e um disco Blu-Ray Áudio com a nova mistura do álbum em alta resolução PCM stereo, a mistura do álbum DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, a mistura DolbyTrue HD 5.1 e a mistura em mono.
As edições Deluxe incluem a nova mistura em stereo e as “Esher Demos”.
A edição Standard consiste na nova mistura em stereo de “WhiteAlbum” em duplo vinil de 180 gramas.
